Concrete Sleeper / Retainer Wedges – Box of 300

Before you start

Check the sleeper and rear gap.

  • Confirm the post and sleeper setup

These wedges are for concrete sleepers used with H or C channel retaining wall posts. Check the gap behind the sleeper before fitting.

  • Check the wedge profile

The wedge is 6 mm at the tip and 24 mm at the back. Those dimensions describe the wedge, not the sleeper thickness.

  • Plan the rear placement

The wedge goes behind the concrete sleeper, between the rear of the sleeper and the post. Confirm the required number and fit for your setup with CLIP-IT® if needed.

Using the product

Check the gap. Place behind. Hold forward.

Use the rear wedge position to hold the sleeper forward until backfilling.

  1. Check the rear gap

Confirm the concrete sleeper and H or C channel post setup, and check the gap behind the sleeper.

Use the 6–24 mm wedge profile to check the actual fit before placing it.

  2. Place behind the concrete sleeper

Position the retainer wedge between the rear of the concrete sleeper and the post.

The wedge holds the sleeper forward until the retaining wall is backfilled.

  3. Keep the sleeper forward until backfilling

Keep the wedge in the confirmed rear position while the wall awaits backfilling.

Check the sleeper fit as part of your wall installation. Contact CLIP-IT® if the wedge does not fit the gap or the setup still has unwanted movement.
